Kojaks Rib House - Palmetto

I LOVE BBQ! I have frequently traveled to Texas, so I have had my fill of barbecue restaurants, so needless to say when I heard about this "great ribhouse" I had to give it a try.  Kojaks in Palmetto is nothing special on the inside, it's very casual with dark wood and booths inside, however, what is special is there food, especially the baby back ribs.  The menu has all the traditional BBQ items, but if you are having lunch this is the place to go.  They offer several lunch specials, that all come with your choice of two sides (the usual fixins') at a very reasonable price. The baby back ribs could quite possibly be some of the best I have had.  They are succulent and fall off the bone and covered with your choice of regular or spicy BBQ sauce (I always get mine spicy) The parsley potatoes are a personal favorite as well as the collard greens, my only recommendation would be that they cut the "vein" out of the collards but other than that they are just perfect.  Kojaks is owned by a husband and wife team, and you are sure to see one of them there when you visit. For the regulars, it really is a place where they know your name.
If you are looking for a great BBQ place and an even better place for a quick lunch at a great price than you must stop by and check out Kojaks
