Seeing how I have been spending a lot of time in Florida, this is one of the most memorable restaurants I have been to in the Tampa/St. Pete area. As soon as you walk in you are amazed by the decor. There are paintings of koi fish hanging all around done by a local tattoo artist, and there is a big etched glass light box in the main dining room. The restaurant is not that big, they have a bar area as well and a few seats outside.
I haven't had one bad meal here, seeing how now I go whenever I'm in town. My personal favorite, Z Grill's deviled eggs. I'm not a big fan of deviled eggs however, these eggs have changed my opinion. They usually have the deviled eggs prepared 3 different ways, I've had Salmon filled eggs and jalapeno ones as well, each are better than the next. My other favorite here is the Dr. Pepper Ribs. Yes, that's right ribs cooked in Dr. Pepper they literally fall off the bone when you pick them up. You can't help but lick your fingers.
What I like about Z Grille is that in addition to the delicious food, the chef/owner Zack thinks very creatively. For dessert, deep fried spring rolls. Need I say more?
